HD remake for PS3/Xbox 360 to be available this fall
Namco Bandai Games revealed at Comic-Con on Friday that it will release Soul Calibur 2 HD Online, an HD remake of its Soul Calibur II fighting game, this fall. The game will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The company added that the PS3 version will include Tekken's Heihachi. Heihachi previously appeared in the PS2 version of the game. Namco released the original Soul Calibur II game for arcades in 2002, and then released the game for the Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2 in 2003. Namco Bandai Games did not mention if The Legend of Zelda's Link, or if Todd McFarlane's Spawn's titular character, who were featured in the Gamecube and Xbox versions respectively, would be returning.
