Super Robot Wars Operation Extend's 1st, 2nd Chapters Previewed in Videos

The official YouTube channel for PlayStation Japan began streaming a preview video on Wednesday for an extra chapter 1 mission for the Super Robot Wars Operation Extend PlayStation Portable game, which will be available for download on July 25 for 100 yen (about US$1). The video also reveals that new special missions will be announced each week.
The game's first chapter was released for download on Thursday for 500 yen (about US$5) for a limited time.
In addition, Namco Bandai Games began streaming an introduction video to the game's second chapter, which will be available on August 1 for 1,000 yen (about US$10).
For the first time in the simulation role-playing game franchise, the title will be offered in eight separate chapters, distributed one after another via download only. Mobile Police Patlabor, Patlabor: The Movie, Sgt. Frog, and Zoids will debut in the franchise in this game. The game will also feature more than 30 titles such as Mobile Suit Gundam, Gurren Lagann, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and Armored Trooper Votoms.
The game is planned for eight chapters. Longtime producer Takanobu Terada is heading the project.
