New LovePlus+ Game for Nintendo 3DS Announced

Game developer Konami has announced the next game in its LovePlus virtual girlfriend franchise. New LovePlus+, an "evolved version" of New LovePlus, will allow up to three players to participate at a time. Other details such as the game's date and price will be revealed later.
Akari Uchida is serving as senior producer for the game, and Mino☆Tarō is again handling the character designs. The game will again star Saori Hayami as Manaka Takane, Sakura Tange as Rinko Kobayakawa, and Yūko Minaguchi as Nene Anegasaki.
The Loveplus franchise launched on the Nintendo DS in 2009, and sold at least 180,000 copies in half a year. The game has since spawned an enhanced LovePlus+ edition, New LovePlus for the Nintendo 3DS, a few mobile and arcade spinoffs, and at least five manga series.
