2nd Behind-the-Scenes Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Video Streamed

Tecmo KOEI America began streaming a second English-subtitled behind-the-scenes interview with Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi and Comcept's Keiji Inafune (Rockman/Mega Man) on Friday. In the video, the pair discuss working with Los Angeles-based development team Spark Unlimited (Lost Planet 3) to create a game that has appeal to both Japanese and foreigners.
Comcept and Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive series) are collaborating with Spark Unlimited on the game. The game will star a new ninja named Yaiba, who is chasing after Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden video game.
Inafune had revealed the game in an announcement trailer last September. Inafune remarked at the time that since he is associated as a "zombie lover," he wanted to create a zombie game. He also noted that he thought up the concept for the game soon after becoming an independent game developer, and the game will be filled with things that he likes: zombies, action, ninja, and mecha.
Inafune released the Soul Sacrifice PS Vita game in Japan on March 7, and in North America on April 30. Inafune is also working on the Guild01 sequel Guild02.
