Killer Is Dead Game's 4th Promo Video Highlights Bosses

Kadokawa Games began streaming a fourth promotional video for its and Grasshopper Manufacture's Killer is Dead video game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Friday. The trailer, which is in Japanese, is the fourth in a series of promotional videos, and each one introduces different characters. This new one highlights the boss battles. The trailer also introduces more of the game's Japanese voice cast. XSEED Games has streamed English-dubbed versions of the first three promotional videos.

XSEED plans to release the game in North America this summer.

The game stars Mondo, an "executioner" whose job it is to kill various heinous criminals. Executive director Suda51 stated the game will be full of the "condensed essence" of his previous "assassin games" such as killer7 and No More Heroes. He also noted that the game will feature sword fighting action just as No More Heroes does, and that it will be a "brilliant" game that goes in a different direction from the "pop and cute" Lollipop Chainsaw.

The game will be released in Japan on August 1.
