Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Coming to Wii U in Japan

HD edition was previously released for PS3 in November
Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced during Friday's live-streamed Nintendo Direct presentation that Sega's Ryū ga Gotoku (Yakuza) 1 & 2 HD Edition game will get a Nintendo Wii U port in Japan. The two games were originally released for PlayStation 2 and then remastered for high definition for PlayStation 3 in November.
The original Yakuza and Yakuza 2 games were released in North America in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
Sega released the latest game in the series, Yakuza 5, in December.
