Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Takako Honda Lead Kick-Heart Cast

Anime studio Production I.G announced at the "Tachikawa Anican x Production I.G Night" event on Saturday that Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Takako Honda will lead the voice cast of its Kick-Heart anime. In the love story, Suzuki will play a successful pro-wrestler named Romeo, while Honda will play Juliet, a nun lives a secret double-life as a female pro-wrestler.

Director Masaaki Yuasa, assistant director Eunyoung Choi, art director Kevin Aymeric, and executive producer Mitsuhisa Ishikawa presented a work-in-progress cut of the short at Saturday's event. Production I.G producer Maki Terashima-Furuta also recorded a video from the anime's dialogue recording sessions:

Kick-Heart reached its main Kickstarter fundraiser goal last month, and subsequent "stretch goals" have extended the anime from 10 to 12 minutes and added an English dub.
