Horizon II Replaces Actress Yuko Goto with Natsuko Kuwatani

Kuwatani to play anime's F. Walsingham; Goto hospitalized due to autoimmune disease

The official website for the Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere II television anime announced on Friday that voice actress Natsuko Kuwatani (The Future Diary, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya; pictured right) will replace Yūko Gotō (Hidamari Sketch, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya; pictured below left) as F. Walsingham in the series. Kuwatani was already chosen to play the character William Cecil, and she will retain that role.

Last month, a live streaming event revealed that Goto would play F. Walsingham. However, her talent agency Axl One announced on May 18 that the voice actress is going on hiatus due to poor health. Goto then posted on her blog that she has an autoimmune disease and reported that her hospital stay will be at least two and a half months.

The second Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere anime season will premiere this July. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, and The Anime Network and Crunchyroll are streaming the first season in North America.
