1st preview of phone's custom interface in action
The official website for the Evangelion franchise updated on Friday with a countdown and a streaming teaser video for the official Evangelion smartphone. There will be an announcement with new information about the docomo NEXT series SH-06d NERV phone on May 2.
The concept of the special-edition unit is a phone that would be government-issued by the Nerv organization in the world of the new Evangelion films. The phone is slated to go on sale in June, and the mmbi booth at Anime Contents Expo had a display during the March 31-April 1 weekend. However, the booth showcased a static mockup; the above video is the first public preview of the phone's custom interface in action.
