The video game publisher Namco Bandai Games confirmed with the video game news website Siliconera on Wednesday that it will release the One Piece: Pirate Warriors (One Piece Kaizoku Musou) video game in North America and Europe in November 2012. Namco Bandai Games revealed the news at its keynote press conference on Wednesday. The company noted it is in talks to release the game digitally.
Namco Bandai Games had registered the game trademark "Pirate Warriors" with the European Union and with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in December and February, respectively.
Namco Bandai Games' One Piece Kaizoku Musou PlayStation 3 game shipped in Japan on March 1 and sold 655,774 copies in its first week. The publisher and Koei Tecmo Games' development studio Omega-Force worked on this "dream collaboration" that combines the pirate story of One Piece with Koei Tecmo's Musou (retitled Warriors in English) action game franchise.
