Sega's Samurai & Dragons Game Intro Video Streamed
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The Gamer.ne.jp website began streaming a 91-second introduction video for Sega's Samurai & Dragons action game on Sunday.
Masayoshi Kikuchi (Yakuza games), Samurai & Dragons's chief producer, stated that the concept was a game with goblins, dragons, ninja, and samurai. The game features an action part in which four players can seek out and fight monsters prowling in a dungeon. Clearing the final floor and defeating the boss monster will earn equipment items and magical beast cards that can be used in the card battle part. Back in town (which serves as each player's base of operations), the players can engage in card battles to expand their territories. They can also form alliances with each other.
A playable version of Samurai & Dragons appeared at Shueisha's Jump Festa event this past weekend, and Sega will release the game for the PS Vita platform in Japan in spring 2012.
