The Idolm@ster 2 PS3 Promo with Hatsune Miku Streamed
posted on by Egan Loo
Namco Bandai Games began streaming the 170-second "Catalog #1" promotional video for the PlayStation 3 port of The IDOLM@STER 2 game on Thursday. The video highlights the different downloadable content options that will be offered in the game, including the Vocaloid idol singer Hatsune Miku singing her song "World Is Mine." Other content include free accessories and a song featured in the fifth television anime episode.
Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine revealed last month that the game will have costumes inspired by Hatsune Miku that other idols can wear in the game, and the magazine then revealed on Thursday that Hatsune Miku herself will appear in the game.
In the original Xbox 360 version of the game, the player manages the careers of 10 aspiring Japanese idol singers as a producer. The Xbox 360 version of the sequel inspired the recent television anime series. The PlayStation 3 version will ship on October 27.
Update: Specified that the anime is inspired by the second game. Thanks, consignia.
