The Idolm@ster 2 Game to Offer Hatsune Miku Costume

Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine is announcing on Thursday that the PlayStation 3 port of The IDOLM@STER 2 idol producer simulation game will offer a costume inspired by the virtual idol Hatsune Miku. Bandai Namco Games will distribute this costume, patterned after Crypton Future Media's character, as downloadable content. The publisher will reveal the price later.

Weekly Famitsu is also revealing that the male idol unit Jupiter will have an optional new "Vice Jupiter" (or "Weiß Jupiter") costume.

The earlier Xbox 360 version of the game inspired The IDOLM@STER television anime series that premiered in July. The PlayStation 3 version will ship in regular and limited editions on October 27. The fourth television commercial below demonstrates how the player can coordinate each idol's costumes with accessories.
