Fafner Film Event to Be Streamed on Ustream

The Ustream website will stream an event for the Sōkyū no Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Heaven and Earth film live to computers worldwide on Saturday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. in Japan (1:00 a.m. EDT). The live "Sōkyū Sakusen" ("Operation Sōkyū") event will be held at the Setagaya Kumin Kaikan event hall in Tokyo. The URL address for the stream will be posted at the anime's official website.
The event will feature scriptwriter Tow Ubukata, who will answer questions posed to him about the show on the anime's official Twitter account using the hash tag #soukyusakusen. Also, Starchild musical group angela will perform at the event. Fans can also request three songs for angela to sing at the event on the staff's official Twitter account using the hash tag #angela_fafner. Both Twitter accounts will be accepting questions and requests until July 5.
Sōkyū no Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Heaven and Earth opened in Japan on December 25. Hisashi Hirai, the character designer of the original Fafner television series, returned to work on the new anime along with the animators at Xebec. angela performed all the theme songs for the film, the television anime series, and the Sōkyū no Fafner - Single Program - Right of Left- special.
