GTO Creator Fujisawa, Actress Ayano Celebrate 1st Baby

Manga creator Tohru Fujisawa (GTO, Tokko, ongoing GTO: Shonan 14 Days) and actress Ayano (formerly Ayano Sugiyama of Kamen Rider Ryuki, Sh15uya) celebrated the birth of their first child in a Tokyo hospital on Sunday, February 20 at 2:23 a.m. The healthy baby girl weighed 2.61 kilograms (about 5.75 pounds), and the relative quickness of the three-hour delivery surprised both the mother and the father.
According to Ayano's agency, she felt some stomachache-like pains in Saturday afternoon, and so Fujisawa stopped working and hurried home. When Fujisawa measured the time between contractions and realized they were only 10 minutes apart, they rushed straight to the hospital.
