Twitter user @m_plum38kota replied to DHC's announcement that the products were on sale with a screenshot of the shop's web page, saying, "At 5:37 it was all sold out... How many did they even make...?" The tweet was posted at 5:42 am.
The majority of replies to DHC are from fans asking the company to restock the items, who state that they were not able to purchase the items in time.

DHC issued an apology for the inconvenience on Twitter and promised that it is "looking into future sales," indicating that a restock may be on the horizon.

It appears that DHC may have underestimated the number of potential buyers for its limited-edition set. The IDOLiSH7 male idol group multimedia project was given ANiUTa's Male Group Artist Division Award for 2018. The franchise's first television anime premiered in January 2018, and a second season has been green-lit. A spinoff series of web anime shorts called IDOLiSH7 Vibrato debuted on February 7.
