Maki is Airmaster who continues to fight in pursuit of thrills she felt as a young gymnast. The thrill of pushing beyond the physical and mental limits, the freedom of tumbling through the air, and the feeling of being on edge, all feed her desire to search out worthy opponents for a good fight.

Fate would have her fight with Kaori Sakiyama in a wrestling championship against Kai Sampagita a champion of wrestling. Maki's showdown with Kai is the closest match she's had to date, as both are gifted fighters.
