Trivia:

In the final episode, when everyone is trying to catch a mystical wish-granting fish, Mayumi paraphrases Haruhi Suzumiya from the anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", specifically her introduction. Mayumi says "I have no interest in any ordinary fish! If there is a God's fish, then come to me! That is all." This seems fair enough since in ep2 of Haruhi Suzumiya, Haruhi displays issues of Comptiq and Compace. One of the covers feature artwork from Aoi NIshimata (Shuffle! character designer) while the other has Kaede and Asa on the cover.

From episode 2-7 and 7-11 each girl's story is focused on starting from Kaede, Asa, Nerine, Lisianthus, Primula. Each opening of contains scenes that follow the stroy line of Shuffle! but are not in it. The ending of Kaede's chapter is a mimic of the PC game SIMS, while Primula's ending is a mimic of Alice in Wonderland.
