The OP is a re-done version of the OP in the original PC CD version (the PS2 and PC DVD versions use a different opening). The lyrics in the Guitar version differ from the original in 4 places.

This anime adaptation uses a completly different set of VAs than the original PC versions (CD and DVD).

In Episode 7, Hagino is wearing a Mahou Shoujo outfit. That outfit is actually the uniform of the girls in Majokko Ala Mode!, also a game made by Fandc/FC-01. It is also interesting to see that Hagino and Sylvia (main heroine from Majokko Ala Mode) are look alike to each other. The cinematography and editing found in episode 16 is a direct spoof of the American live-action TV hit show 24.
