Trivia:

The idea to localize Devilman for western audiences was orignally presented to anime companies by Glenn Danzig, the ex-lead singer of the Misfits and Samhain, and current lead singer of Danzig. He actually had some of the Devilman manga translated into English by his own Verotic comics label.
