Trivia:
Mizore's name literally means "sleet" but also refers to a dish of shaved ice flavored with condensed milk, a popular summertime treat in Japan. This explains why Cheko-chan eats Mizore's head with syrup in episode 3.
In episode 6, Kanato replaces Cheko-chan's head with kagami mochi, a traditional New Year's decoration and delicacy that consists of two round, glutinous rice cakes topped with an orange.
