Trivia:
BeyWheelz was first introduced at Hasbro's 2012 New York Toyfair booth. The event took place between February 12-15, 2012.
The series was produced to fulfill an international episode order shortfall after Beyblade: Metal Fury's Japanese run was truncated to allow room for B-Daman Crossfire.
Despite not sharing continuity with those shows, Nelvana considers BeyWheelz to be episodes 142-154 of the Metal Saga, encompassing Beyblade: Metal Fusion through Beyblade: Shogun Steel.
The series is the first of three Beyblade spinoffs produced for the western market.
