Trivia:

The lyrics of the ED song "Fubuki" contain the names of all of the ships of the Fubuki-class present in the game, which include (in order of mention), Isonami, Murakumo, Shirayuki, Hatsuyuki and Miyuki.

In episode 1, some of the girls have an ability to speak foreign languages, for instance Kongo often speaks English because her ship's alter ego is made in Britain and Hibiki can speak Russian because her ship's alter ego is the only survivor of the class and acquired by the Soviet Navy after the war.

In episode 3, The fleet girls are on the mission to attack the so called "W island" is based on the battle of Wake island during World War Two. Also in this episode it also shows the sinking of fleet girl destroyer Kisaragi which is also happened on the real destroyer during that battle.
