In episode 9, at the beginning Kayura mentions she's been learning Zentradi, this is a reference to the alien race of SDF Macross
In episode 10, around 12:14, Nagi mentions that Maria may transform into a pretty girl with a mini-skirt and punishes people in the name of the moon. This is a clear reference to Sailor Moon.
