In the game "Super Robot Wars R", "Shin Getter Robo VS Neo Getter Robot" was the first time they used this storyline instead of the classic Getter Robot storyline for their series of games.

In "Change 3", one of the Proto Getters bear a striking resembelance to the Reido from Go Nagai's "Psycho Armour Govarian".

This OVA is a very loose retelling of Getter Robo Go.

In Episode 2, Jack's communicator strongly resembles a "WonderSwan" gaming system by Bandai.
