This year's 13th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Magazine revealed on Monday that Kentarō Okamoto and Riri Sagara's Are You Lost? (Sōnan desu ka?) manga will have a "super important announcement" in the magazine's 14th issue on March 4. Additionally, the manga will not have a new chapter in the 14th issue, but will have its next chapter in the 15th issue on March 11. The manga regularly runs in the magazine every other issue.
ADK Emotions Inc. registered the "sounandesuka.jp" domain on January 18.
Kodansha Comics began releasing the manga digitally in October, and it describes the story:
Because of a plane crash … starting today, we're spending the springtime of our lives on a desert island!! There's nothing here, so we have to make everything!! And eat everything!! (Ugh!) Check out our high-school-girl survival story of courage and knowledge. We're actually doing pretty well! Volume 1 includes: how to eat cicadas, how to build traps, a simple allergy test, how to eat hermit crabs, etc.
Okamoto and Sagara launched the manga in Weekly Young Magazine in January 2017. Kodansha published the manga's third compiled volume in Japan on October 5, and will publish the fourth volume on March 6. Kodansha Comics published the third manga volume digitally in English on December 4.
