Tokyo Ghoul Manga Franchise Has 34 Million Copies in Print Worldwide

This year's seventh issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine is revealing on Thursday that Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re manga series have a combined 34 million copies in print worldwide.
Ishida serialized Tokyo Ghoul in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, and is now serializing Tokyo Ghoul:re. Shueisha published the 13th volume of Tokyo Ghoul:re last October, and will publish the 14th volume on Friday.
As of last June, the manga had a combined 24 million copies in print. Shueisha had published 11 volumes of Tokyo Ghoul:re at the time.
Viz Media has licensed the Tokyo Ghoul:re sequel series, and it released the manga's first volume last October. Viz Media previously released all 14 volumes of the original Tokyo Ghoul manga in English.
