Comic Market 93 Attracts 180,000 on 1st Day

The Comic Market (Comiket) 93 event in Tokyo drew about 180,000 attendees on its first day on Friday, December 29.
Attendance was up from Comiket 91's first-day count of 170,000 attendees last December. Attendance was also up from this summer's Comiket 92 first-day count, which numbered 160,000.
Summer 2013's Comiket 84 holds the record for the most attendees on the first day with about 210,000.
