This year's 39th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine is revealing on Thursday that Usogui manga creator Toshio Sako is drawing a completely new character named "Shiden" that will appear in Wright Flyer Studios' Bukiyo Saraba smartphone game. The character will launch in the game on September 4.
The 38th issue of the magazine had teased on Thursday that Toshio Sako and the Usogui manga would have an "important announcement" in the 39th issue.
The story of Usogui follows a brilliant gambler named Baku "Usogui" Madarame as he lays down his life as the wager for various games.
SAKO began the manga in 2006 and Shueisha published the manga's 47th volume on August 18. The series inspired an original video animation (OVA) bundled with the manga's 26th volume in 2012. A live-action film was announced last year but it has not yet debuted.
