Kan Colle Arcade Game Launches on April 26
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official Twitter account of the Kan Colle development team announced on Thursday that Sega's Kan Colle arcade game will launch on April 26.
Sega initially planned a summer 2015 release for the game, and then delayed it to fall, and was delayed again to this spring.
The game's location tests on March 4-6 at Round1 Stadium Sennichi-mae in Osaka drew over 1,000 players. Sega previously held a location test from January 23-25 at Club Sega Akihabara in Tokyo.
Sega previously streamed two promotional videos for the game earlier this month.
The game cabinet has controls modeled after a ship's wheel and engine order telegraph lever to control the timing of volleys and how players' fleets can search for enemy fleets. It also features 3D animated models of the characters. Like the original Kan Colle browser game, the game will have a home port interface where players can manage resources and check the status of their ships.
