Ryukishi07's Hotaru-Bi no Tomoru Koro ni Manga to Begin in March

The February issue of Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine published "chapter 0" of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni creator Ryukishi07's new manga project Hotaru-Bi no Tomoru Koro ni (When the Firefly Light Burns) on Friday and announced that the full manga adaptation will begin in the May issue on March 25.
Ryukishi07 is writing the story and Nokuto Koike (Mitsu no Shima) is providing the art.
Ryukishi07's Umineko book, Umineko no Naku Koro ni ~Saigo de Saisho no Okurimono (Umineko no Naku Koro ni ~The First and Last Gift~, pictured below), shipped in Japan on December 18 with a prologue novel that connects Umineko no Naku Koro ni to Hotaru-Bi no Tomoru Koro ni. The book contains 21 short stories ranging from comedic to serious that were previously only available at Comic Market (Comiket) or special events.
