Sound! Euphonium Character Designer Asada Draws 'Girl Versus Girl' 1-Shot Manga

This year's 47th issue of Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine announced on Thursday that Nikki Asada (Sound! Euphonium original character design) will publish a one-shot manga titled "Girl Versus Girl" in the magazine's 50th issue, which Akita Shoten will publish on November 12. The magazine notes that this will be the first manga that Nikki Asada will publish in Weekly Shōnen Champion.
The magazine teases the one-shot manga:
An all-girls school infiltration love comedy.Yōta took the place of his sister and dressed as a girl to enter an all-girls high school. What will happen to him?
Asada's latest work is her Hoshigami-kun wa Dōka Shite Iru manga, which she launched in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in May 2014. Kodansha published the manga's second compiled book volume on May 13. She drew the original character designs and illustrations for Ayano Takeda's Sound! Euphonium novel series, which served as the basis for the animated character designs in the first novel's television anime adaptation. The Sound! Euphonium anime premiered on April 7, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
