I'll admit, I was scared when I read 'Studio DEEN'.

Interesting choice. I would've thought they'd choose a more "popular" seiyuu, since the manga is already such a hit, maybe someone like Mamoru Miyano or OnoD. Since the manga is so short I thought it wouldn't get an anime, but I'm glad to know that's not the case. I haven't read the manga, but I'm definitely interested in this. There seems to be a lot of good shit coming out for Spring

Agreed...I have no issue with the staff - Shinji Takamatsu knows how to put together a comedy anime - but DEEN...This will make spring the second season in a row that they'll have three full-length series airing simultaneously...Is it really going to be okay? (I mean, even this season, their only show that looks good from an animation standpoint is Rakugo Shinjuu...)
...Super Lovers is doomed, isn't it? *sighs*
Well, I at least trust this show will be funny. That's something.

Perfect casting! And it's rare that we get an anime without "whoever is popular" casting. Hikaru Midorikawa is a great fit, and a talented veteran. Can't wait.

Good casting and key visual. Not a fan of studio DEEN but really hope they can do something neat with the adaptation...

Wow, DEEN seems to be so seriously overworked right now. It seemed like they didn't have anything for several seasons in a row, and now they are just pushing out as much as possible. I just hope they are able to contract the necessary help. It's been a long time since I watched a DEEN anime that didn't have a lot of animation issues.

With seeing good comedy in KonoSuba in that season I don't see a problem. And DEEN really like bishies.
But... Shinji Takamatsu on directing and Hikaru Midorikawa voicing Sakamoto... o-o-oh yeah!

I don't care much as which studio is doing the animation. At least they have a director known for doing comedies and good animator who handles character designs. Atsuko Nakajima is veteran animator with strong sense of design and her character design works in "You're under Arrest" and "Ranma 1/2" still stand out on its own.

I expected Takahiro Sakurai to voice Sakamoto though...
But it's okay anyway with Shinji Takamatsu and studio deen helming the project.

I never really understood why people dislike DEEN, I've liked the majority of their shows so I can't complain.
But hey. it's Shinji Takamatsu directing! Looking forward to this

Not gonna lie, the only reason I'm going to watch this is for Hikaru Midorikawa.

Wow, Midorikawa Hikaru... Such a nostalgic name. I can imagine how his voice and the titular character's "cool beauty" look will match.

Even though he didn't have that many roles the last years, Hikaru Midorikawa is one of the best examples of ikemen seiyuus.
