Yes! Hunter x Hunter!

I'm kinda curious to see how the dubs will sound as well.
Very excited for this~

Glad to see publishers are noticing how much more popular Madhouse Studios are outside Japan. Not the biggest Madhouse fan, but glad to see it regardless. Loved the latter half of HxH

I always wondered why it was taking so long to get this series licensed considering how popular it is, particularly this adaptation of it. Nice to see it finally happen.

Hopefully it gets a better treatment than the 90s series though

This should be interesting. Curious as to how the dub will sound. I'm pretty excited!

Although, considering how many volumes they'll have to sell to get through the whole series, my wallet isn't ready...

The license holder was probably asking for a lot for it; along with companies thinking it was risky due to it's length. Happy it's finally getting a release now. I could finally get around to watching it.

Hunter X Hunter is the reason i finally broke down and paid for crunchy roll as I could not wait a week for certain episodes near the end of the chimera ant arch. And I was able to wait the extra week while watching Attack on titian.

I hope the disks are not too expensive. I'll have to own this and I'd rather not go broke.

Also if it's dubbed maybe it might wind up on toonami? that would be great.

Viz is just getting all of my money this NYCC. And you know, I'm pretty okay with that.

Anyone think this might mean reprints of the original show?

The announcement of a dub is promising - it means Viz can at least try to get the show on Toonami.

Great news, heard about this series quite a bit and will look forward to giving it a chance once the dvd/blurays and the dub are out!

spoiler[Now Viz if only you'd start releasing condensed DVD sets of Shippuden like you did with the original series. Would love to start owning the series but there are sooooo many box sets and so pricy for all of them]

I really want Toonami to air this!

Anyway, this show is amazing! Kudos to Viz; I was starting to lose hope. Also, since this is Viz, its likely that we'll get the two films too.
