Sekirei is actually ending soon? That's ...well, not entirely surprising imo given the context of the story by now.

It's been running since Dec. '04. I am hoping that Minato does pick Musubi cause then it would continue the cliche of lead guy picking lead girl and because then I could tell Alexis Tipton's FB group that her Sekirei character was the girl that Minato picked.

All I know is just give me my damn happy ending with everyone because if this thing was running from 04' then I for one should at least get some closure with minato getting a harem end.

I'm sad that Gokurakuin won't be drawing the new series, but that said it sounds like a potentially interesting plot so I'll keep an eye out for it.

So Gokurakuin Sakurako is responsible for the premise of the series, while someone else will write the story proper? Can it be considered as "her series"? To me, it seems like how Urobuchi Gen's name is attached to an anime project, regardless of how little he actually contributed (see Gunslinger Stratos -THE ANIMATION-).

Hameyadea, by the story idea, I'd say it's her series. When you have an artist and a writer that are each a separate person, the copyright rules of who is the creator can get blurred.

I am very excited to finally be getting the Sekirei manga -- I would prefer print, but digital isn't bad either
