No reason to bother since the missing artwork in question is also included in the LE booklet & also on the third Blu-ray disc so this is no big deal.

It is a big deal. If the product was supposed to come with a reversible cover then customers should be entitled to it. As you can see by the complaints there are people out there that wanted to use the reversible cover and they should be able to if they choose to.

F that! I am not calling Warner. It sucks to not have a reversible cover, and once again I blame Viz Media: (probably) the worst N.A. anime distributor. I hope that they stop licensing and selling anime after they release all of Sailor Moon.
I agree. |

So you'd rather complain than make one phone call to get the problem solved? |

Yes. I have to voice my complains toward Viz, and I refuse to make a phone call and beg for a service I should have received with my product. |

I don't see what's so hard about calling up Warner and getting the cover though? It doesn't seem like much of an inconvenience to me? EDIT: You could always just call and ask for the cover (I don't see why anyone would "beg" for such a thing), then send an email off to Viz's customer service? That way you get your cover and your complaints to Viz are heard as well. |

While Viz's first set of SM had the issue of ghosting, second set was alright, but now the 3rd set it makes me wonder who is in charge of quality control.
Also it's kind of cool seeing my full name in an article as that rarely happens, usually due to the fact that in most cases the writers either shortened it to first name and my initial of my last name or just first name only. So thanks ANN |

I agree that it's pretty stupid to have to call in for this sort of thing in this day and age. It would be much nicer to just fill out a web form to get them to send it to you, but at least they're providing a way to get a replacement. And I think that it sends completely the wrong message if folks don't call in. If you care about this sort of thing, and you didn't get a reversible cover in your copy, then call in and get them to send it to you, even if it's annoying. It's annoying for them too, and it'll send them the message that their customers care about this sort of thing, which is the message that we want sent to them.

Well said. You are right, I should call Warner and make their day a bit uncomfortable. Maybe Viz might do better QC next time. |

If by "a bit uncomfortable" you mean taking your frustration out on the person that answers the phone, keep in mind that person is only an employee. They may not even work for WB, but instead work in a call center contracted by them. |

Was the Standard Edition Sailor Moon R Season 2, Part 1 DVD/BD combo also supposed to have the reversible cover, or not?
I ask because I didn't get the LE, just the SE, and don't want to call WB over this if the SE was intended to be blank inside, with the reversible cover being 'exclusive' to the LE. |

From what I can tell, the Limited Edition is just buying the fancy box to store both parts and the booklet that goes between them(worth it BTW); Since there's no LE for the Part 2s, my guess would be that all of the Blu-ray sets are exactly the same. Huh. Viz must have had several different printings because my cover was just fine. |

I'll be calling tomorrow, definitely.
They are open from 7am-6pm. After hours message doesn't count. Press 1 for replacements? The person's accent is a little hard to understand. If I remember, I will post as to how it went. |
