Replayed on Thursday night, eh? That's a pretty good idea. Now, I will be able to miss a Saturday night from time to time.

Are they going to air the OP along with the show? I hope so.

Warning - Titan TV and TV Guide Online are really messed up and they are showing Fullmetal Alchemist airing for a hour tomorrow and Ghost in the Shell: SAC airing Thursday but not tomorrow night Rolling Eyes.

So if you use online type listing to set up you're recording (such as TIVO) that the shows are showing up correctly in the online guides or you may miss GitS:SAC.

As for the OP and ED's airing, no idea what they are going to do with those. Generally, no one knows what's happening on that front until the shows actually air - though I read someplace that FMA is using the second OP at the request of Japanese producers (the band that did it has a U.S. recording contract IIRC), so I would think that FMA is airing its OP in some form or other with the show.

Don't you dare start that. FUNimation has said they will not dub the endings, or chang anything else. More than likely, Cartoon Network will edit out the openings like they do with everything else except Big O.

They will air the Ready, Steady, Go! OP for FMA, but I doubt they will air the OP for GitS.

I hope they show the OP of GitS: SAC because that was the coolest opening I ever saw. C'mon, what's better than watching a sexy-looking lady rendered in 3D?

EDIT: Ok, I finished watching it on Adult Swim. THEY KEPT THE OPENING! Very Happy

I didn't see any opening for FMA (prolly because it was the first ep) but the end didn't seem to be altered.

The first episode has the show's opening at the end. It's put at the beginning from that point onward.

I didn't say anyone was dubbing the OP or ED. I said FUNI was going to put the second OP on the broadcast version (the band who does it is Japanese but they also have a U.S. record deal) and that's exactly what they did tonight. The first episode didn't have a OP but used the original OP "Melissa" for it's end credits but we got "Ready, Steady, Go" used instead.

BTW, they did edit the ED for time. To read more about how and why, go to this thread 'C&C - Fullmetal Alchemist - "To Challenge The Sun"' [11/6] over at Toon Zone and look for lheiskell posts (that's Lance from FUNImation) .

Anyway, I was happy they used the GitS OP/ED and the actually getting a preview of the next episode of FMA was fantastic, seeing that getting one of those on any show over on Adult Swim is always rare IMO.
