Bravo Bones. Bra-vo. All excellent job by Matsumoto and staff. 15k+ for a Bones anime. Just wow. The last 10k+ anime was DTB 2 almost 5 years ago. This is looking to be a great year for Bones and Kekkai Sensen Season 2 is basically confirmed with these sales and the great manga boost.

Ah, Euphonium, not bad sales but this is worse than Amagi and this volume had an event ticket which is usually a good sales booster. It'll probably do better than KnK and Tamako but fall short of Amagi and way below Chuu2 or Free. Hope KyoAni goes back to more Kadokawa light novels. Need more stuff like Amagi.

Good numbers, especially Kekkai Sensen and Hibike! Euphonium; I hope we will get a second season of the latter.

Kekkai Sensen deserves every sale. Hopefully they can stick the landing spoiler[have her live so I actually care about a season 2 that goes beyond what little manga is left] and go for a second season.

I'm meaning to get the Nana Mizuki Live Theater Acoustic blu-ray - Suara dueted on Shin Ai (White Album OP) with Nana Mizuki on both days, reprising the Animelo Summer Live 2009 performance.

I guess Bones finally breaks their curse of failures? Especially since last year was pretty harsh with Dandy and Chaika dying in sales, both seasons of each.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san F just under 4k, I wonder what extras were included. Would love to see NISA get this OAV. From what I've read, seems like it gives the whole series a nice end.

And here I thought Kekkai Sensen was one of those shows that wouldn't sell in Japan at all. I've never been so happy to be wrong Very Happy

Should we take account of some sales made in the KyoAni Shop that tends not to be included? I thought that episode 8 boost would have pushed this even further unless this was the result of that push.

It was like 3k estimated before episode 8 so these sales are mostly the result of that push. As for KyoAni shop, I always hear people say it matters but I honestly don't think it makes THAT much of a difference. Of course, it's better to wait until the end of the year and see the total disc sales and then we can get a better idea of where Euphonium is. I honestly wouldn't expect too much of an increase though. The numbers out right now are a fairly good estimate. Of course, there are still 2 episodes left. If KyoAni can do something in those 2 episodes like what happened with episode 8 you could see a big last minute spike.

Look at Death Parade. Japan's usually crappy tastes is why we can't get original shows more often.

At least Kekkai Sensen is doing well.

Going by how boring Death Parade was, I think Japanese buyers made a wise decision.

I thought Sound! Euphorium would sell at higher numbers than what I saw, but they're not that bad...

Some people say boring; some people say noir.

I didn't expect that 3 precure movies will enter the list. Personally Yes precure (the first) is better, then yes gogo. Fresh is one of the most boring precure movies that I ever watched.
