This just shows how much work had to be put in with the limited technology they had at the time. Things have become so advanced and more convenient in the 21st century. I can see a lot of Youtube videos resulting from this upcoming game.

It's incredible that Mario has over the years transformed from a rough sketch to an 8-bit plumber and to the 3D plumber hero that we all know and love today. Time seems to fly by so fast...

Back then creation tools had to be made from scratch (also dev kits as well, I seen a YT video showing a custom made Sega Genesis developers kit from EA since they reverse engineered the original Genesis dev kit). Also, sprite making was hard in the Famicom era.

I saw that during the E3 conference it was fascinating! I can only imagine how complicated it must have been to draw maps for the original Legend of Zelda game.

How a simple looking game required a lot of work and effort. And became one of the popular games of all time, Impressive. :3

The fact that people have been describing this part of the presentation as "fluff" or "filler" really, really saddens me. In most other entertainment industries, giants of the medium revealing the creative processes behind crafting masterpieces would be met with due intrigue and praise. But nope, most gamers can't sit for 5 minutes through an E3 video without losing attention if a new game isn't announced. So very, very sad.
