Hah Elvira was HAWT back in the day. Laughing

Can't wait to see what she would look like in manga-style. Although, I'm not familiar with this company here, or that artist dood from Iron Cat.

I laughed when I saw this bit of news also! Elvira! I'm so glad she's still finding a use for those ta-tas. Wink Her campy, exagerated style will translate well to manga, I bet.

When I was in college and we were all broke as sin on Saturday nights, watching her make fun of bad horror movies (and herself) great date. All we needed was beer, a big vat of popcorn, pillows, and a few friends.

I just realized that was like 20 years ago. Embarassed

She's baaaaaaaack!, and not just in manga format. I caught sight of a magazine that had her on the cover just this last Friday (10-29-04) saying she was going to be up to her old stuff; at least throught the Halloween holiday. And you're right, she has been at it a while. The photo I saw made me realize she's gone from "campy" to "scary"; I thought vampires didn't age?! Confused ; must not be using enough sun-screen Wink

It will be interesting to see what they might do with her, her whole attitude is so like Alucard, from Hellsing: saaaay, wouldn't that be an interesting pairing Twisted Evil .

Typo in the news article:

Quote:
Shoujo Punk Anime, a publisher of manga style comics, announced thait it has obtained permission to include Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, as a cameo character in its Faehunter series. Elvira will make a number of cameo appearances in the series, but will not be a main character.
