So, they choose "M. Bison" for the name of the Dictator in the trailer instead of "Vega", huh? Granted, M. Bison is his most well known name in the international localization.

The game looks gorgeous, far better than before. There're gameplay vids out from various sites and despite people saying it feels slower, it looks faster to me.

V-Skills and Trigger seem like more interesting comeback mechanics in comparison to Focus Attacks and Ultras. Whether they'll be more palatable remains to be seen.

Damage is really high in this game in comparison to SF4, dunno whether it's a good or bad thing. Might see a damage reduction in later builds. Though there've been a number of system changes (like no moves aside from throws and Critical Arts giving hard knockdowns) so maybe the high damage's to compensate.

It's confusing:
- Bison (the dictator who hangs out with Zangief in the Bad-Anon groups) is known as "Vega" in Japan.
- Vega (the masked Spanish bullfighter) is known as "Balrog".
- Balrog (the boxer) is known as "Mike Bison".

Ohh, okay, that last one at least makes a little more sense, but it's still not the simplest sort of arrangement, is it, John?
(And besides, Raul Julia will always be "M. Bison".)

Still looks too much like SF4's art style imo. They should have pushed a stylistic change for SFV in the vein of SF2>SFA>SF3 to show they're at least trying to evolve the visual design. Capcom should take notes from Arc System Works and create something really unique next time.

Is it just myself, or did I notice that M. Bison's hair just got whiter?

No, his hair is really white. Maybe he has become old? In SF3, Ryu and Ken are kind of old.
