Based off of the leaks over the last few months along with no release date for western version of Tales of Zestria its safe to say this game is likely releasing on both the PS4 and PC along side the PS3 version as both the PC and PS4 versions have had multiple leaks.

I agree, it also has some logical reasoning to back it up. Xillia 2 didn't do so hot, because the NA and EU markets jump console generations far faster than Japan. it was obvious to me, and likely most everyone else that Zestiria wouldn't do so well either if it only came out the PS3. having a PS4 version solves that issue, as for the PC, Bamco seems to be trying their best to enter the PC market, and this would be another step for that.
I suspect we may be hearing about this at E3, given all the updates but no announcement.

Interesting. I have both consoles so I don't care either way, but it would be nice to have some more PS4 games. ...Though I'd really like a PS4 RPG that actually utilizes the PS4's updated hardware and isn't yet another "remaster".

I was going to buy that sometime this month but now I'll put it off until I buy a PS4.

Thank god and the DLC needs to be part of the deal too. Can the PS3/ 360 finaly die now?
Pretty please as they had since 2005(/06) to shine in the sun and it is 2015 after all.

Knowing how long the PS2 stuck around after the PS3 released. The PS3 isn't going to die anytime soon. And why would it, it's still a great console with loads of owners. Why wouldn't a company want to utilize this to make money?
...and the 360 is pretty much dead already since most of its owners traded it off for the XbOne. At least everyone I know that actively played that console did (yes everyone).

I am just glad that the PS3 version is coming to the US. I cannot afford a PS4 right now. Plus if the Tales of series is gonna migrate over to PC soon, I will no longer have a need to buy Sony systems.

Would they really release a PS4 version in the US that hasn't launched in Japan? Japanese fans get extremely salty when the US gets stuff they don't.
Personally I'd love to grab it on PS4 although that $20 added price tag is pretty gross.

I imagine they'll release the PS4 version in Japan as well.

They have taken both listings down.
Edit: Just the PS3 version back up.

That's another thing, they said it'd take 6 months, but then they announce a "autumn" release window, showing that *something* is causing a delay.

as long it's available on the PS3 as well then i'm fine with it
well, if it's not some crappy port version like (shadow of mordor) then i'll get it.
you have to be careful buying games on the last gen system when the current gen is already out..
don't want to crappy port or dumb down version with a bunch of glitches

Actually, the PS3 version seems to be the original, unless they withheld the PS4 version from Japan for whatever reason.
