That's great. Really it is. Now can we get a dub upgrade for Seikon No Qwaser please? I'm willing to shell out cash for it!

Well shucks. I have Maid Sama! but I'm in Japan and won't be coming back to the States until May. >_>; I suppose the up side is that I likely wouldn't be watching the dub but it'd be nice to have it there just in case.

EDIT: Oh wait. The offer is good until June 30. Hmm... This actually means I can bring my DVDs back with me and send them in while I'm in the States. What's funny is that the upgrade would cost me more than what I paid for the entire series on DVD. Anime hyper

Hows about getting that on BD first. I know I'll get five responses "but Qwaser cannot into 1080p!" Well, looks like they are, so at least there's that. Now if MB could lose Ladies Versus Butlers and Sentai pick it up instead, and give it BD.

The offer does not expire until June 30, 2015. So you might still be able to do it, if you can wait until you get back.

The link in the article for the forms did not work for me.
This Right Stuf news article has links to the forms.

I am not sure yet if I am going to do it. This would save me a little less than $20 on the Blu-ray, which I already have on order from Right Stuf, but I might just keep the DVD sets.

The amount it would cost to ship the DVD's back to TRSI from Australia would probably nullify almost all of the savings...

Interesting option. Hopefully it is successful and we can have the options for more of their catalog.

I luckily didn't buy Dog & Scissors yet although I was planning to.
I live in the Netherlands so there'd be no way for me to even get this upgrade and I would've seriously regretted buying the sub-only set. Good thing I didn't get it yet, now I can simply get the new set.

Nice! I'll definitely take advantage of the Maid Sama upgrade.

Now if we could only get a dub for Kurenai, the Hell Girl sequels, and the other 8 or 9 sub-only shows from them that I own...

Oh, hey. I didn't think they were doing this sort of thing anymore. Wasn't there a column or something that said Clannad was sort of a fluke?

Despite Sentai and Funi having done extreme fan service shows before, I wouldn't be surprise that, given the premise of the show, they decide not to dub it. If they do, I hope Sasha's voice is a guy.

Why? Reason being: While most of my subbed anime is seen muted, from the sounds that I heard Yuko Sanpei as Sasha in Qwaser, I felt she was miscast.

I can't imagine someone watching Dog and Scissors in Japanese only to go, "yeah, that's something that I'd not only watch again, but I'm gonna watch it with much worse voice acting."

Maid Sama! doesn't surprise me too much. It's still got a decent fanbase even after four years. But I'm surprised that they believe it's worth the effort for Dog & Scissors. That said, I'm happy for the fans and happy that Sentai is doing well enough to afford more dubs.

What's funny about this is because of basic economics, it would actually be more worthwhile to keep the sub only version because it'll go up in value on the secondary market because of this.
