Saw this movie on the weekend. Loved it. As wildly inappropriate as this marketing campaign may be given the content of the film compared to the PG rated tank combat in GuP (Which completely glosses over the horrors of war in favour of a sports anime setup) it still puts a smile on my face

Great. Now all I need is someone from Tiger & Bunny narrating the upcoming Avengers 2 trailer and Kiritsugu Emiya narrating the trailer for John Wick and my life is complete.

That's nice and all but I'd like to hear more about the Girls und Panzer movie personally.

Oh that would make my day if they did that. Very Happy

You'd be surprised what the Japanese consider G and PG, compared to us.

Fury is rated R, as it should be. Very gory.

I saw it last week, despite the poor reviews and box office gross, it was fantastic imo. I loved it. Very realastic. Needs more love and praise.

This AD is cool. Anime hyper

I can just picture how this happened:

GuP: It has lots of tanks!
Strike Witches: It's during WWII!
-KanColle-: Hardly relevant at all, but it's still military!

I really don't understand how they can sell a gory war film using moé. Not that there won't be anyone buying the tickets, but many will probably do it just for the clear files, and skip the movie altogether.

I know I would. Confused

Planning to watch it. I'm happy that it has an add like this. Thank you Japan for doing it. Laughing

Funny, most of the reviews I saw were actually quite positive about it, at worst mixed. Though yes, it's a fantastic movie, though the middle part kinda dragged a bit. The actual tank moments themselves though were quite fantastic.

Can you imagine if Aldo "The Apache" Raine (Brad Pitt) was being the tank commander in Quentin Tarantino's movie
