this game makes me want to vomit.
why can't we ever get a real zelda game.
doesn't have to be long or amazing, just a real one.

You do know that Nintendo is working on Zelda Wii U right?
Just be patient.

Like all those other Zelda games we've gotten/are getting? Jesus, entitled much?
Since 2011 we've had 2 mainline Zelda games. Two update/remakes. And we've got an announced next gen Zelda on the way. That's pretty good!
EDIT: Oh right. I had something amusing to say...
Game footage? IN A TV COMMERCIAL!? What year is this?!

There are seventeen games in the main Zelda series.
Seventeen.
So I'm going to go ahead and say that we have gotten a "real Zelda game." Quite a few, in fact.

We got a Zelda game last year. We're getting ANOTHER one next year. Furthermore, this is the ONLY spinoff in the series. You will get your Zelda fix soon.

oh, that's right
there are so many GAMECUBE zelda games on the wii-U
I got a little confused what nintendo fanboys were saying
my friend, I am not going to buy a nintendo pocket boy to play your little cute zelda games. if you believe that's fine why don't you send nintendo a letter to stop selling the wii-U.
you want to be luigi and go around and suck ghosts with a vacuum cleaner, be my guest - I prefer a little more mature content than that.
The wii-U is almost 3 years old now.
There is not one zelda game on it.
and they wonder why it is not selling.
I am not sure if you are old enough to have owned a Wii, but zelda twilight princess was one of the first games available, and with good reason. Because people want real zelda games.

I have to say, the idea of being able to play as Zelda in a Zelda game (plus the other rather large female roster) makes it quite exciting.

Said reason being that it was an already-developed GameCube title that just had to be tweaked a bit?

Don't use logic, it won't get you anywhere.
At any rate, I just happened to get to play the Hyrule Warriors demo at a kiosk at Target 30 mins ago.
To preface, I popped in a Ps2 copy of Dynasty Warriors 4 yesterday, just to see what all the hub bub was about. It was okay, but not that exciting. It kind of tempered my Hyrule Warriors expectations.
After playing the demo I'm actually more intrigued about it then ever. The gameplay is very smooth, and you have a lot of different options for to make combat less repetitive. And the boss battles also make things significantly more interesting when they turn up. I only got to play as Link (though Zelda and Impa are playable in the demo) but if he's anything to go by, this game could be a lot of fun.
Also apparently you can play two player local co-op with your tv and Game Pad. So that makes things even more interesting.

If he's using the Wii as some kind of gamer age barometer I'm guessing he's about 13 years old.
