Meanwhile, quality I.G. anime such as Innocence will fail at the American box office, because the people who buy the Linkin Park albums don't think it has as much violence as Kill Bill.

I don't think the general public will care, unless they're hardcore freaks that like to complain about everything such as little stuff like this. Why would this be a bad thing anyways? There's million of Linkin Park fans, and this will help promote "Anime" to thier fanbase. And people buy music for the music, not for the animation. As for the anime Style, it'll be something freshier than same old stuff you in music video. Of couse i'm a Linkin Park fan and I don't always look down on everything. |

Ugh. The last thing we need is more Linkin Park AMVs. They are, in essence, the bane of the AMV community. Actually, this was announced over there, and got an understandably hostile reception. Thread in question.

Production IG are stupid? So...by association, Ghost in the Shell, Jin-Roh, End of Evangelion, Innocence, FLCL, Blue Seed, and a number of other high-profile titles are also stupid? Gaytron. That's a good one. Don't expect to last very long here. |

I agree, Linkin Park sickens me...they are just another boy band, except they have this "edgy, look at us, we wish we were half as talented as Rage ever was" kind of thing going, or not going for them, depending on whom you ask.
But hey everyone makes mistakes, Production IG has contributed so much to the industry and artform. Maybe this is like a "Cable Guy" kind of project for them...hey no one is perfect. And the Gaytron thing...that was classic

By classic, I meant funny. I didn't say it, so I wasn't breaking said rules, sorry for lauging or finding humor in a post.
Go ahead pick on the new guy. I was just saying that Linkin Park is garbage and that what Coarse said was funny, I didn't say it myself, nor would I. Back OT, does anyone happen to know what in the world inspired Linkin Park to make an anime music video, I mean, I'm hoping it is not because one of the boys in the band thinks anime is trendy or something, or it makes him that much more risque. Few things are sacred with me, like good music and good anime. This is not a pairing of those two, in any way shape or form. |

Uhh, to the best of my knowledge Animatrix and Kill Bill were not animated by the same people. Kill Bill was done by Production I.G. Production I.G was not responsible for any of the Animatrix pieces. |
