I agree I have been waiting on this announcement for a while. I love the original Bubblegum Crisis

Did they ever do a new English dub for Bubblegum Crisis for the Blu-Rays? I'll still buy it without it, but it really needs one.

No, they don't have access to the music and effects tracks so producing a new dub would have been really expensive.

The Kickstarter didn't make enough money to pay for a new dub anyways even if they had the M&E tracks.

That's too bad. That English dub is horrendous.

I don't know, I've got a soft spot for the dub (bearing in mind it's age), as it's one of the first anime I ever saw.

I thought AnimEigo had the M&E stuff (remember they did the original dub), just that doing any new dub would have been hideously expensive for the potential extra income.

I would quite like to see a modern dub for it myself, including the songs done in English again, but then as I say I've got a soft spot for the series (hence why I backed it), and I'm possibly a little odd in that I sort of like listening to different interpretations of the same roles.
