I will wait for them to confirm what they decided to remove before passing judgment. I have wanted criminal girls for years, but not if its heavily botched.

Knowing NISA it probably includes removing the mini games, which is kind of the point of the game.

I don't know they bother to release that game knowing how many fans will cry foul if they censure the game. Maybe NIS just to release something something for the Vita, regardless the kind of game.

who care if people complain? Why release something that people don't complain? that's normally something very bad anyway. Example. Final Fantasy.

As long as you money who da hell care about other people think.
Example Monster Monpiece, it did pretty well consider all the cry foul.

Since the Vita is region free, I wonder why some JP games don't do a localized text version like some anime releases as I don't think the cost would be that much more. This way, they can add import buyers as a bonus and bypass censorship. They can also sell direct via amazon's marketplace in the US. The only benefit of local licensing would be brick and mortar store shelves and marketing, which I don't think really benefits titles like this.

It's interesting how the Marvelous games via Xseed don't have the same issue even with the highly suggestive Senran Kagura cooking game.

Both are digital only in the US (Burst had a physical release in EU).

I got super excited for Criminal Girls up until I read to the part about editing. Nope! I get to keep my $40, thanks NIS.

I don't think Monster Monpiece did well in the west. IFI has never said anything about "We're so pleased to see MonMon doing well" "Great sales numbers" etc. The fact they kept so quiet about it and are only focusing on Re;birth1 makes me believe Monster Monpiece did as well as we all thought it would, badly.

IF by some chance NIS doesn't censor Criminal Girls and apologize for insulting its loyal fanbase as 'extremists', then I might finally be willing to pay them some respects.

The last few years of their localizations has been brutal to me. Never again.

To be honest, I've never understood the fuss about why games like Monster Monpiece and Mugen Girls are censored. Personally, I hate censorship myself, but at the same time, I think it's a small price to pay if it means them getting a English release.

Hm,haven't heard of Criminal Girls but it sounds interesting so I'll have to do research.I wonder how far they will censor it though, since I may not buy it if the censoring just gets ridiculous.
Also, glad to hear that htoL#NiQ is coming!I am really interested in the story and wondering what the whole story is.Now I'm hoping that NISA will also include the goodies Japan had.

You can see the sales rank in amazon and PSN(digital download.)
let me rephrase it, it did alot better than many jp games like Mind Zero, Blazblue vita version, Demon Gaze, Conception II, Atelier series ect.

FFXHD, Danganropa and Miku also did very well in vita. Those type of games are not going to sell alot either way. it's not going to get Vita's Call Of Duty number.

It was also digital only compared to those other games. Everyone who wanted one got a cartridge. Not really a fair comparison.
