For some reason, I kinda expected this. Maybe they might announce another title today.

I didn't think about this one, but it definitely makes sense based off of the other kinds of shows they typically license... Still holding out for Captain Earth, and Hitsugi no Chaika...

:/

Assuming that Funi already has Date A Live II and Soul Eater Not! locked (and they don't simulcast DBZ Kai II for some inexplicable reason), they have two titles left.

GONZO never even makes almost-porn. That envelope was pushed ages ago and this stuff is all weaksauce.

I was hoping Crunchyroll would stream it, but I guess at least if Funimation gets it the release will be better than if Sentai had it.

Well, well, well... apparently Funi had themselves engaged in some censorship... Confused

1.25 minutes were cut, right after the eyecatcher, at 13:35 to 15:00.

It's a whole scene, here's a summary as given by user ChibiGoku on a forum-not-to-be-name-here; (warning; spoiler, nsfw)
spoiler[The scene where Ash dreams/flashbacks about this woman named Navi after the eyecatcher was cut. She starts teasing him by putting and rubbing her breasts on his face, then eventually going in to give a blow job (Though you don't see anything, due to her back being turned towards the camera. You do, however, get to see the expression on Ash's face).]

Wow, I did not expect Funimation to actually do the censoring themselves, especially cutting out an entire 1+ min.

It makes even less sense now that they've gone to a paid-only model. I'd be pissed if I were a subscriber.

edit: just saw the part cut out. It was still quite tame where all but a few seconds were spent talking and NO nudity.

Maybe not to *you*. I take it you'd be ok if they released the BD/DVD that way too, since you also had the same opinion about Viz's censored Nura release. Obviously there are others who don't feel the same.

But regardless of what you thought what was cut was "important" or not, it's wrong to advocate it just on principle alone.

I don't have an opinion on Nura. Haven't seen it, and I currently doesn't interest me, so I have no idea if i would buy it. I just wanted to know what was missing

I don't know how I currently feel about Dragonar either, so I have no idea if I would buy it if the missing 2 min in the stream was not in the release

now that I'm thinking about it, I don't really know what my point was, or even if I had one. running a light fever right now, I guess I'm not thinking straight. I think it's time to go to bed

No prob man. Rethinking this, it could be this is just the version Funi got. I assumed Funi cut it themselves since I didn't see anything explicit but if it's not their own doing, I wonder if Funi is even aware that there is full version out. Hopefully they can avoid another Sankarea like situation.

Seems Funi is determined to continue their censorship streak... Evil or Very Mad

On episode 2, a ~1-minute scene, that would have started at ~4.35 in the Funi stream, was cut off.

To make matters worse, this doesn't seem to be the only instance of censorship.

There's a scene at ~21.00, with Eco's restraints being broken, where Funi apparently opted to omit the lower half of the screen and just blew up/zoomed the upper part.

Haven't compared them in detail, only caught that second instance because did a quick browse of a raw rip and happened to pause at the full-body shot, and decided on a whim to find it in the Funi rip. So there might even be more instances of censorship involved.
