Due to the fact that Spike Chunsoft publishes 2 very similar series post merger (Zero Escape and Danganronpa), it doesn't make much sense to compete with yourself... and Danganronpa sells like 7-10 times as many copies in Japan than Zero Escape does. If one game has to get cut, its Zero Escape.

Should probably cut ties with Japan for the game and focus it on the West. Japan is used to many games of this type, but not so much overseas. Would help to add more platforms and stick with 2D with no VA if one must to save cost. Have more tie-ins, like selling OST, merchandise, and special edition stuff to get more money for the West.

I was just thinking about the third game in the trilogy...I hope it can get a release! I have 999 and I definitely enjoy what I've played of it so far, I want to see the series continue to its proper conclusion!

Uchikoshi has since tweeted that "Various matters are now under consideration.", so there's still hope.

I hope they get at least one more game to wrap up the story at least. 999 stands alone fine, but Zero Escape leaves things a little open.
